Maun Rest Camp is now under the management of the company that founded and runs the nearby “Old Bridge Backpackers”. We are committed to staying in keeping with the long running Maun Rest Camps ethos, “Clean, quiet and comfortable”.
MRC has an outdoor poolside bar that is open from midday to 8pm. We also have an equipped self catering kitchen in which you may prepare your own meals. You are always welcome to ask at reception for directions to “The Old Bridge Backpackers” which is an enjoyable 5 minute stroll away. Residents of Maun Rest Camp have full use of the restaurant and bar facilities there.

There is a wide variety of activities that can be booked through our reception, the details of most can be viewed by clicking on the the links on our activity page.

The free wifi signal is stongest in the area around the pool, bar and kitchen but does reach a lot of the campsites and accommodation.
The combination of the quiet laid back atmosphere of Maun Rest Camp and the lively social scene of The Old Bridge Backpackers compliment each other well. This enable us to offer the best of both worlds to our customers.
